Atlanta, GA – Fatal Pedestrian Accident at Lenox Rd & Cheshire Bridge Rd
Atlanta, GA (October 15, 2021) – At 9:23 p.m. on Friday, October 15, a fatal pedestrian accident occurred at an intersection in Atlanta.
According to police, the accident happened at the intersection of Lenox Road and Cheshire Bridge Road. A pedestrian, who has not yet been identified, was walking south in the area when they were suddenly struck by a passenger vehicle in the area. The driver remained at the scene to cooperate with the police.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene. The pedestrian was seriously injured in the collision. The unidentified party was pronounced dead at the scene.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the accident for an extended period of time. Police urged those in the area to use an alternate route for some time.
