Atlanta, GA – Fatal Motorcycle Crash on I-85 Near Cheshire Bridge Rd
Atlanta, GA (November 27, 2021) – At 1:08 a.m. on the morning of Saturday, November 27, a fatal motorcycle crash happened in Atlanta.
According to Atlanta Police, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of I-85 around the area of Cheshire Bridge Road. A passenger vehicle and a motorcycle were traveling in the area when they collided with each other forcefully. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. The male motorcyclist was thrown from his motorcycle and onto the road. He was pronounced dead at the scene due to traumatic injuries.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the accident until police were able to clear the scene.
