Atlanta, GA – Chain-Reaction Collision on I-75 Near N Ave Leads to Injuries
Atlanta, GA (June 15, 2021) – Before 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 15, a serious chain-reaction collision occurred on a highway in Atlanta.
According to police, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of I-75 around the area of North Avenue (exit 249). Three vehicles were traveling on the highway when they were involved in a chain-reaction collision with each other. One vehicle slammed into a white sedan and the third vehicle was unable to stop in time. All of the involved vehicles were left with extensive damages.
Paramedics and numerous other local responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured as a result of the accident. The injured victims were hospitalized with various injuries.
Two left lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for a period of time, which led to extensive delays.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues at this time.
