Atlanta, GA – Car Crash with Injuries at Ponce De Leon & Clifton Rd
Atlanta, GA (December 12, 2021) – At 2:35 p.m. on the afternoon of Sunday, December 12, a car crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Atlanta.
According to DeKalb County officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Ponce De Leon Road and Clifton Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, forcefully colliding with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured as a result of the accident. The injured parties were hospitalized, though their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for a period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
