Atlanta, GA – Car Crash with Injuries at Northside Dr & Bellemeade Ave
Atlanta, GA (October 6, 2021) – At 5:29 p.m. on the evening of Wednesday, October 6, a car crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Atlanta.
According to Atlanta Police, the accident happened at the intersection of Northside Drive and Bellemeade Avenue. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, forcefully colliding. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were seriously injured as a result of the accident. The injured victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment.
A left lane of traffic was blocked at the intersection for a period of time as police worked to clear the scene. This led to delays for some time.
No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
