Atlanta, GA – Car Crash with Injuries at N Commerce Dr& Washington Rd
Atlanta, GA (September 23, 2021) – At 7:48 a.m. on the morning of Thursday, September 23, a car crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Atlanta.
According to Atlanta Police, the accident happened at the intersection of North Commerce Drive and Washington Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, causing them to collide with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured as a result of the accident. The injured victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment, though their conditions are not yet known.
Multiple lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for a period of time, which led to delays until police cleared the scene.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues at this time.
