Atlanta, GA – Car Crash in EB Lanes of I-20 Near Glenwood Ave
Atlanta, GA (May 30, 2021) – At 2 a.m. on the morning of Sunday, May 30, a car crash occurred on a highway in Atlanta.
According to the DeKalb County Police Department, the accident happened in the eastbound lanes of I-20 around the area of Glenwood Avenue. Multiple vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles were extensively damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other local responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
Several right lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
