Atlanta, GA – Car Crash at Woodland Ave & Moreland Ave Intersection
Atlanta, GA (September 28, 2021) – At 6:10 a.m. on Tuesday morning, September 28, a car crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Atlanta.
According to Atlanta Police, the accident happened at the intersection of Woodland Avenue and Moreland Avenue. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, colliding with each other. The vehicles involved in the crash were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
Multiple lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for an extended period of time until police were able to clear the scene. This led to delays until the scene was fully cleared.
No further details have been released. The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
