Atlanta, GA – Car Crash at Ponce de Leon Ave & Springdale Rd Intersection
Atlanta, GA (September 29, 2021) – At 9:22 a.m. on the morning of Wednesday, September 29, a car crash occurred at an intersection in Atlanta.
According to Atlanta Police, the accident happened at the intersection of Ponce de Leon Avenue and Springdale Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured in the accident. The injured victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment.
Due to the severity of the accident, numerous lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for some time. This led to delays until police cleared the scene.
