Atlanta, GA – Car Crash at Peachtree Rd & Peachtree Dunwoody Rd Intersection
Atlanta, GA (August 28, 2021) – At 7:14 p.m. on the evening of Friday, August 27, a car crash with injuries occurred in Atlanta.
According to Atlanta Police, the accident happened at the intersection of Peachtree Road and Peachtree Dunwoody Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other at the intersection. One of the vehicles forcefully overturned in the middle of the road. The vehicles involved in the crash were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment. Their conditions are not yet known.
Two right lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for an extended period of time as police cleared the scene.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
