Atlanta, GA – Car Crash at N Druid Hills Rd & Lavista Rd
Atlanta, GA (June 30, 2021) – At 12:53 p.m. on the afternoon of Wednesday, June 30, a car crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Atlanta.
According to Atlanta Police, the accident happened at the intersection of North Druid Hills Road and Lavista Road. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, which caused them to forcefully collide with each other. The vehicles involved in the crash were left with extensive damages as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those with injuries. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for a period of time, which led to delays in both directions.
