Atlanta, GA – Car Crash at N Druid Hills Rd & Executive Park Dr
Atlanta, GA (July 9, 2021) – At 12:56 p.m. on Friday afternoon, July 9, a car crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Atlanta.
According to Atlanta Police, the collision happened at the intersection of North Druid Hills Road and Executive Park Drive. Police confirmed that two vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time. This caused the vehicles to forcefully collide, which led to extensive damages. The vehicles involved in the crash were badly damaged and had to be removed from the scene by tow trucks.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other local responders were immediately called to the scene to help those with injuries. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
The right lane of traffic was blocked at the intersection for some time, which led to extensive delays.
Police continue their investigation into the circumstances of the accident at this time.
