Atlanta, GA – Car Crash at Intersection of Hollowell Pkwy & Wood St
Atlanta, GA (June 30, 2021) – At 8:16 a.m. on the morning of Wednesday, June 30, a car crash took place at an intersection in Atlanta.
According to officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Hollowell Parkway and Wood Street. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when they both entered the intersection at the same time, causing them to forcefully collide with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were left with severe damages as a result.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those with injuries. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
Multiple lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for a period of time until police cleared the scene. Police urged those traveling in the area to use Hollywood Road as an alternate route.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
