Atlanta, GA – Car Crash at Fairburn Rd & Mt Gilead Rd Intersection
Atlanta, GA (May 18, 2021) – At 5:13 a.m. on Tuesday morning, May 18, a car crash with injuries occurred at an Atlanta intersection.
According to police, the accident happened at the intersection of Fairburn Road and Mt. Gilead Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided after entering the intersection. The vehicles were left with severe damages.
Paramedics and numerous other local responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of unknown injuries.
Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was blocked in the area for some time. This led to delays until police cleared the scene.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
