Atlanta, GA – Car Accident with Injuries on I-85 near Flat Shoals Rd
Atlanta, GA (July 10, 2021) – At 3:54 p.m. on the afternoon of Saturday, July 10, a car accident with injuries took place on a highway in Atlanta.
According to Fulton County officials, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of I-85 around the area of Flat Shoals Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the crash were extensively damaged.
Paramedics and numerous other local responders were called to the scene to help those with injuries. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries, though their conditions are not yet known.
Two left lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for some time until police cleared the scene.
The investigation into the collision remains ongoing.
