Atlanta, GA – Car Accident with Injuries on I-85 Near 17th St
Atlanta, GA (December 19, 2021) – At 8 a.m. on the morning of Sunday, December 19, a car accident with injuries occurred in Atlanta.
According to officials, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of I-85 around the area of 17th Street. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when one or more lost control, causing the vehicles to collide with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The injured parties were immediately hospitalized, though their conditions are not yet known.
