Atlanta, GA – Car Accident with Injuries on I-20 Near Moreland Ave
Atlanta, GA (June 6, 2021) – Before 3 p.m. on Saturday afternoon, June 5, a car accident with injuries occurred on a highway in Atlanta.
According to officials, the accident happened in the westbound lanes of I-20 around the area of Moreland Avenue. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided due to unknown reasons. This led to extensive damages to the involved vehicles.
Paramedics and numerous other local responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were transported to local hospitals.
Three out of five lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for some time.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
