Atlanta, GA – Car Accident with Injuries on I-20 Near McDaniel St
Atlanta, GA (May 6, 2021) – Before 8 a.m. on Thursday morning, May 6, a car accident with injuries occurred on a highway in Atlanta.
According to Atlanta officials, the accident happened in the westbound lanes of I-20 around the area of McDaniel Street. Two or more vehicles collided in the area for reasons that are not yet known, which led to extensive damages to the involved vehicles.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.
Two left lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
