Atlanta, GA (April 11, 2021) – At 6:55 a.m. on Sunday morning, April 11, a car accident occurred on a major highway in Atlanta.

According to Atlanta officials, the accident happened in the eastbound lanes of I-20 around the area of McDaniel Street. Police confirmed that two or more vehicles collided in the area, which led to extensive damages to the involved vehicles.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to the hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

The right lane of traffic was blocked for a period of time.
