Atlanta, GA – Car Accident with Injuries on GA-400 Near Sidney Marcus Blvd
Atlanta, GA (November 16, 2021) – At 8:30 a.m. on the morning of Tuesday, November 16, a car accident occurred on a major highway in Atlanta.
According to Atlanta Police, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of GA-400 around the area of Sidney Marcus Boulevard. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured as a result of the accident. The injured victims were hospitalized, though their conditions are not yet known.
Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was blocked in multiple left lanes. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
