Atlanta, GA – Car Accident with Injuries in SB Lanes of I-85
Atlanta, GA (May 6, 2021) – At 11:14 p.m. on the night of Wednesday, May 5, a car accident with injuries occurred on a highway in Atlanta.
According to officials, the accident took place in the northbound lanes of I-85 around the area of Sylvan Road. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they were involved in a damaging collision with one another.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.
A right lane of traffic was blocked in the area for some time, which led to slight delays in the area.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
