Atlanta, GA – Car Accident with Injuries in SB Lanes of GA-400
Atlanta, GA (September 23, 2021) – At 7:53 p.m. on the evening of Thursday, September 23, a car accident with injuries occurred on a highway in Atlanta.
According to Atlanta Police, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of GA-400 around the area of Sidney Marcus Boulevard, or exit 1. Several vehicles were traveling on the highway in the area when they collided due to reasons that are not fully known. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured in the accident. The injured victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time as police cleared the scene.
