Atlanta, GA – Car Accident with Injuries at I-75 Near Peachtree St
Atlanta, GA (October 9, 2021) – At 5:09 p.m. on the evening of Saturday, October 9, a car accident with injuries occurred in Atlanta.
According to Atlanta Police, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of I-75 around the area of Peachtree Street. Three vehicles were involved in a chain-reaction collision with each other. Two of the vehicles sustained severe front-end damages as a result. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured as a result of the accident. Their identities and conditions are not yet known.
Two center lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for a period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
No further details have been released. The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues at this time.
