Atlanta, GA – Car Accident on The Perimeter Near LaVista Rd
Atlanta, GA (June 6, 2021) – Before 8 a.m. on Thursday, June 3, a car accident happened on a major highway in Atlanta.
According to Atlanta officials, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of The Perimeter around the area of LaVista Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided due to reasons that are not yet known. This led to extensive damages to the involved vehicles.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were hospitalized, though their current conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in two or more lanes for a period of time.
No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
