Atlanta, GA – Car Accident on Iris Dr Near W Ave Leads to Injuries
Atlanta, GA (July 13, 2021) – At 5:42 a.m. on the morning of Tuesday, July 13, a car accident with injuries occurred in Atlanta.
According to police, the accident happened on Iris Drive (Access Road) around the area of West Avenue. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries, though their conditions are not yet known.
Due to the severity of the crash, all lanes of traffic were blocked for a period of time. The roadway was quickly cleared by police.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
