Atlanta, GA – Car Accident on I-85 Near Church Rd Leads to Injuries
Atlanta, GA (July 12, 2021) – At 10:12 a.m. on the morning of Monday, July 12, a car accident with injuries occurred on a highway in Atlanta.
According to local authorities, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of I-85 around the area of Church Road (exit 164). Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged. Tow trucks had to remove the vehicles from the scene.
Paramedics and numerous other local responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries, though their conditions are not yet known.
One lane of traffic was open following the collision. This led to delays in the area.
