Atlanta, GA – Car Accident on I-285 Near Paces Ferry Rd Leads to Injuries
Atlanta, GA (July 25, 2021) – At 2:42 p.m. on Sunday afternoon, July 25, a car accident with injuries occurred in Atlanta.
According to Cobb County officials, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of I-285 around the area of Paces Ferry Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries, though their conditions are not yet known.
The right lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for some time as police cleared the scene.
