Atlanta GA – Car Accident on I-285 Near Hollowell Pkwy
Atlanta, GA (June 7, 2021) – At 10:13 p.m. on the night of Monday, June 7, a car accident occurred on a major highway in Atlanta.
According to Fulton County officials, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of I-285 around the area of the Hollowell Parkway. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided due to unknown reasons. The vehicles involved in the collision were left with extensive damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other local responders were dispatched to the scene to assist those in need. One or more victims were hospitalized with various injuries.
Two left lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for some time. Police urged those traveling through to use I-75 as an alternate route.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
