Atlanta, GA – Car Accident on I-285 Near Bouldercrest Rd Leads to Injuries
Atlanta, GA (July 26, 2021) – At 12:44 a.m. on the morning of Monday, July 26, a car accident with injuries occurred on a highway in Atlanta.
According to Atlanta Police, the accident happened in the westbound lanes of I-285 around the area of Bouldercrest Road. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were hospitalized with injuries, though their conditions are not yet known.
Due to the severity of the crash, a red alert was issued in the area. All lanes of traffic were blocked for some time until police cleared the scene.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
