Atlanta, GA – Car Accident on I-20 Near Langhorn St Leads to Injuries
Atlanta, GA (August 22, 2021) – At 3:12 p.m. on the afternoon of Sunday, August 22, a serious car accident with injuries occurred on a highway in Atlanta.
According to Atlanta Police, the accident happened in the westbound lanes of I-20 around the area of exit 54, Langhorn Street. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when one or more lost control, causing an extensive collision. The accident led to extensive damages, causing the vehicles to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for injuries. Their current conditions are not yet known.
Three right lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for some time.
