Atlanta, GA – Car Accident on I-20 Near I-75 Leads to Injuries
Atlanta, GA (August 22, 2021) – At 5:30 p.m. on the evening of Friday, August 20, a car accident happened on a highway in Atlanta.
According to officials, the accident happened in the eastbound lanes of I-20 around the area of I-75 and I-85. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the left lane until police were able to clear the scene.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
