Atlanta, GA – Car Accident on I-20 Near Hill St Area
Atlanta, GA (April 9, 2021) – At 1:10 p.m. on the afternoon of Friday, April 9, a car accident took place on a major highway in Atlanta.
According to Atlanta officials, the accident happened in the westbound lanes of I-20 around the area of Hill Street. Two or more vehicles collided with each other in the area, which led to extensive damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene. One or more victims were immediately hospitalized. Their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
