6/7 Atlanta, GA – Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-85 Near N Druid Hills Rd

Atlanta, GA (April 15, 2021) – At 4 a.m. on Thursday morning, April 15, a car accident occurred on a highway in Atlanta.

According to the DeKalb County Police Department, the accident happened in the eastbound lanes of I-20 around the area of Glenwood Avenue. Two or more vehicles collided in the area due to unknown reasons, which led to extensive damages to the vehicles. Wreckers were seen removing cars from the scene.

Paramedics and numerous other local responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were hospitalized as a result. Their conditions are not yet known.

The roadway was blocked in the area of the exit ramp. No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
