Atlanta, GA – Car Accident on I-20 Around Flat Shoals Rd
Atlanta, GA (June 2, 2021) – At 8 a.m. on the morning of Wednesday morning, June 2, a car accident occurred on a highway in Atlanta.
According to the DeKalb County Police Department, the accident happened in the eastbound lanes of I-20 around the area of Flat Shoals Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident were severely damaged.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
Two right lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for a period of time.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
