Atlanta, GA – Car Accident on GA-400 Near Sidney Marcus Blvd
Atlanta, GA (July 1, 2021) – At 4:51 p.m. on the afternoon of Thursday, July 1, a car accident with injuries occurred on a highway in Atlanta.
According to officials, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of GA-400 around the area of Sidney Marcus Boulevard (exit 1). Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the crash were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those with injuries. One or more parties were injured in the accident. They were taken to local hospitals for treatment.
The roadway was blocked in the area, which led to delays for a period of time.
