Atlanta, GA – Car Accident on Buford Spring Connector Leads to Injuries
Atlanta, GA (July 9, 2021) – At 4:38 a.m. on the morning of Friday, July 9, a car accident took place on a major highway in Atlanta.
According to Atlanta Police, the accident involved multiple vehicles and took place in the northbound lanes of the Buford Spring Connector. The crash happened around the area of Piedmont Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they suddenly collided due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged and had to be removed from the scene by tow trucks.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time, which led to extensive delays.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
