Atlanta, GA – Car Accident Involving Ambulance on Hogan Rd
Atlanta, GA (June 1, 2021) – At 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon, June 1, a car accident occurred on a roadway in Atlanta that involved an ambulance.
According to officials, the accident happened at 3700 Hogan Road when a passenger vehicle and an ambulance collided with each other. Police confirmed through witnesses that the two vehicles collided head-on, which led to extensive damages.
Paramedics and numerous other local responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. Two victims inside the passenger vehicle, identified as a mother and her 5-year-old child, were rushed to the hospital with serious injuries. Police have not confirmed if there was a patient inside the ambulance at the time.
The roadway was blocked in several lanes for a period of time after the accident.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
