Atlanta, GA – Car Accident in SB Lanes of I-75 Near Windy Hill Rd
Atlanta, GA (June 6, 2021) – At 12:13 p.m. on the afternoon of Sunday, June 6, a car accident with injuries occurred in Atlanta.
According to Cobb County officials, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of I-75 around the area of Windy Hill Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling on the highway when they suddenly collided due to reasons that are not entirely known. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were hospitalized with an array of injuries, though their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area for a period of time.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
