Atlanta, GA – Car Accident in NB Lanes of I-85 Near N Druid Hills Rd
Atlanta, GA (September 5, 2021) – At 5:21 a.m. on Sunday morning, September 5, a car accident happened on a highway in Atlanta.
According to DeKalb County officials, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of I-85 around the area of exit 89, North Druid Hills Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with one another due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment. Their injuries are not yet known.
The right exit lane of traffic was blocked in the area for an extended period of time as police cleared the scene.
