Atlanta, GA – Car Accident in NB Lanes of I-85 Near N Druid Hills Rd
Atlanta, GA (July 25, 2021) – At 5 a.m. on the morning of Sunday, July 25, a car accident with injuries occurred on a highway in Atlanta.
According to DeKalb County officials, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of I-85 around the area of North Druid Hills Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they forcefully collided due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the collision were extensively damaged due to the crash.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
Two right lanes of traffic were blocked for a period of time as police cleared the scene.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
