Atlanta, GA – Car Accident at Ponce De Leon Ave & Myrtle St
Atlanta, GA (May 6, 2021) – At 6:30 a.m. on the morning of Thursday, May 6, a car accident with injuries occurred in Atlanta.
According to Atlanta officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Ponce De Leon Avenue and Myrtle Street. Several vehicles allegedly collided after entering the intersection at the same time. This led to extensive damages to the involved vehicles.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were present at the scene. One or more victims were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries, though their conditions are not yet known.
Lanes were blocked in the area for some time, which led to delays until police cleared the scene.
