Atlanta, GA – Car Accident at Ponce De Leon Ave & Lullwater Rd
Atlanta, GA (April 22, 2021) – Around 3:43 p.m. on the afternoon of Thursday, April 22, a car accident occurred at an intersection in Atlanta.
According to local officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Ponce De Leon Avenue and Lullwater Road when two vehicles collided with each other. One of the vehicles was identified as a passenger vehicle and the other was an Atlanta Police Department cruiser. The vehicles allegedly entered the intersection at the same time, which led to extensive damages.
Paramedics and numerous other local responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those with injuries. One or more victims were injured and rushed to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for some time. Police urged those traveling through the area to use DeKalb Avenue for some time.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
