Atlanta, GA – Car Accident at Moreland Ave & McDonough Blvd
Atlanta, GA (August 6, 2021) – At 4:34 p.m. on the afternoon of Friday, August 6, a car accident with injuries occurred at an intersection in Atlanta.
According to Atlanta Police, the accident happened at the intersection of Moreland Avenue and McDonough Boulevard. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged. Tow trucks had to remove the damaged vehicles from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured in the accident. The injured victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries, though their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked at the intersection for some time, which led to extensive delays for some time.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident remains ongoing.
