Atlanta, GA – Car Accident at Camp Creek Pkwy & Butner Rd Intersection
Atlanta, GA (August 18, 2021) – At 7:16 a.m. on the morning of Wednesday, August 18, a car accident with injuries occurred at an intersection in Atlanta.
According to Atlanta Police, the accident happened at the intersection of Camp Creek Parkway and Butner Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time. The vehicles forcefully collided with each other, causing extensive damages to the involved vehicles.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked at the intersection for a period of time, which led to delays.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
