Atlanta, GA – Car Accident at Buford Hwy & Sidney Marcus Blvd
Atlanta, GA (July 13, 2021) – At 8:47 a.m. on the morning of Tuesday, July 13, a car accident with injuries occurred at an intersection in Atlanta.
According to Atlanta Police, the accident happened at the intersection of Buford Highway and Sidney Marcus Boulevard. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the crash were severely damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those with injuries. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment of injuries. Their conditions are not known at this time.
Only one right lane of traffic was open for a period of time, which led to delays in the area until police cleared the scene.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues at this time.
