Atlanta, GA – Car Accident at Auburn Ave & Piedmont Ave Intersection
Atlanta, GA (June 10, 2021) – At 6:40 a.m. on the morning of Thursday, June 10, a car accident with injuries occurred in Atlanta.
According to Atlanta officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Auburn Avenue and Piedmont Avenue. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided after entering the intersection at the same time. The vehicles collided forcefully, which caused extensive damages to the involved vehicles.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other local responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are not yet known.
Several lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for a period of time, which led to delays until police cleared the scene.
