Atlanta, GA – Bus Accident at Ponce de Leon Ave & Springdale Rd
Atlanta, GA (April 19, 2021) – Around 6:30 a.m. on the morning of Monday, April 19, a bus accident took place at an intersection in Atlanta.
According to authorities, the accident happened at the intersection of Ponce de Leon Avenue and Springdale Road. A MARTA bus and a passenger vehicle collided after they entered the intersection at the same time. This led to extensive damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.
The roadway was blocked in the area for a period of time.
