Pedestrian Accidents in Georgia

6/15 Athens, GA – Pedestrian Accident at Sanford Dr & Hooper St Pedestrians are some of the most at-risk parties on our roads when it comes to Georgia accidents. This is due to the fact that pedestrians have no protection from harm in the event of an accident. Statistics show that, in just 2018, approximately 260 pedestrians were killed in fatal collisions throughout the state and many others were injured. Being injured in a pedestrian accident can turn your life upside-down in the blink of an eye. The unfortunate truth is that drivers are expected to watch out for the well-being of others on our roads, especially in the event of pedestrians. If you have been hurt in a pedestrian accident that is not your fault, you may be feeling helpless and alone. It is crucial that you seek the help of an attorney who has handled these claims in the past.

Nobody is ever fully prepared to face the aftermath of a pedestrian accident on their own. These accidents lead to some of the most severe injuries on our roads including spinal cord injuries, TBIs, fractures, organ damage, paralysis, and more. These injuries tend to land victims in the hospital and cause them to spend time away from the workplace. This can impact your life both physically and financially as you attempt to get back on your feet. Injured victims should always seek immediate legal help when it comes to their Georgia personal injury claim.
