Athens, GA – One Injured in Car Crash at Baldwin St & E Campus Rd
Athens, GA (January 31, 2023) – One person sustained injuries in a car accident that took place at an intersection in Athens on the morning of Monday, January 30.
According to the University of Georgia Police Department, the accident happened on-campus at 9:58 a.m. at the intersection of Baldwin Street and East Campus Road. Police confirmed that two vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, causing them to collide with each other. The involved vehicles were badly damaged as a result of the crash.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other local responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One of the drivers, who has not yet been formally identified, was injured in the accident. The victim was treated on scene for unknown injuries.
