Athens, GA – Car Accident at Baxter St & Hull St Intersection
Athens, GA (April 7, 2021) – At noon on Tuesday afternoon, April 6, a car accident occurred at an intersection in Athens.
According to the University of Georgia Police Department, the accident happened at the intersection of Baxter Street and Hull Street. Two or more vehicles entered the intersection at the same time, which led to extensive damages to the involved vehicles.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene. One driver received abrasions and other injuries as a result of the accident. They are expected to be okay.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for an extended period of time.
